TIMBo Certification training program
yogaHOPE, is an organization founded on the heals of one woman’s personal empowerment, and built upon the believe that any woman anywhere has the capacity to heal and empower herself and in turn help heal and empower others. It is from this foundation that the TIMBo Certification Training was developed.
After several years of research, development and piloting our program and trainings we are very happy to offer the TIMBo Certification Training program to women everywhere. This 100 hour training program will make you eligible to apply become a Certified TIMBo Facilitator, allowing you to use the TIMBo name, materials and program curriculum with groups of women with whom you are currently working or wish to work with.
There are many ways to take advantage of the TIMBo Certification Program, whether you want to be a certified facilitator or just learn some trauma informed mindfulness skills. For individuals interested in gaining trauma informed understanding and techniques for their work and teaching, the TIMBo Certification Training modules can be attended individually*. For individuals interested in becoming Certified TIMBo Facilitators, all 4 trainings can be taken over a period of time or all at once as a part of our Global Initiative Program.

What happens next?
Upon completion of the TIMBo Certification requirements individuals will pay their licensing fee and are eligible to bring the TIMBo training to their private clients and groups they wish to work with.
Once you are a Certified TIMBo Facilitator :
• You may call yourself a Certified TIMBo Facilitator and use the trademarked TIMBo name in you marketing
• You receive a packet of program materials (workbooks and manuals) for use in the running of the TIMBo program
• You receive a username and password to the TIMBo Facilitator website, which will give you access to ongoing support, community boards, relevant research and articles, and current data on the TIMBo program
• All fees collected from your TIMBo group participants
become a certified timbo facilitator and start changing lives
TIMBo Training Modules strategically help individuals gain knowledge and experience of the TIMBo program starting with the Foundations training and following up with an in depth look at all of the individual components of the curriculum. The training modules are as follows :
MODULE 1
TIMBo Foundations 32 hour training (approved for 32 hours NASW CEUs)
MODULE 2
* Healing Touch 20 hour training
MODULE 3
* Trauma Sensitive yoga instruction, meditation and breath
MODULE 4
* TIMBo facilitator technique
Individuals interested in moving forward in becoming a Certified TIMBo Facilitator will be required to :
• Complete of all 4 TIMBo training modules
• Complete of all pre-requisites (including reading material and make up hours)
• Pass licensing exam and register as TIMBo Licensed Facilitator
• Complete all TIMBo Licensed Facilitator requirements

TIMBo Internship Program
The success of this program has made it clear that we will need to build our team of trainers from the women who believe in this program—our trainees! Our internship program* is a way for individuals to get involved on the inside and learn first hand what it takes to be a trainer. Individuals interested in a TIMBo internship must complete the TIMBo Certification Training program and lead at least one TIMBo group (under supervision) of their own. Once eligible, individuals will submit applications and be interviewed by our senior training team. Interns will help with every aspect of the training from inception to delivery and follow through. Our training team is an outstanding group of individuals who embody the core principles of the TIMBo program and live by these principles every day—and we’re looking to build this team!
